LEAD THE CHARGE (7) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of eight months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 1673m at Listed level at this track (Dirt). Has ability and can get off the mark. CROSSBONE (4) will find this a little easier than his second on debut a month ago, beaten 4 lengths at the end of 1308m at Turf Paradise (Dirt). Promising type with improvement to come so he should be in the finish again. OLE'S SURPRISE (2) has not raced since he finished second on debut over 1308m at Hastings Racecourse on September 20. Best figures stack-up nicely. WHISKEYTHENWINE (5) resumes from a spell of three-and-a-half months and looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 1207m at Turf Paradise (Dirt). Can pick up where he left off. Rates highly on best form and a bright return wouldn't surprise.
