TITUS (1) is close to a win after a string of minor placings, the latest when second over 1850m at Cologne. Finds a tougher race but another big run will not surprise. ADAM SMITH (2) recorded a minor placing two starts ago at Munich then couldn't handle better opposition last time when seventh over 1750m at Hannover, beaten 4 lengths. Can bounce back in this far more suitable contest. DARKSIDE STORY (5) stepped out on his debut over 2000m at Baden Baden four weeks ago and finished sixth, beaten 10 lengths. Improver who can feature in the finish. TEXANA (11) finished 15 lengths away in seventh at her last appearance over 1850m at Cologne on September 11. Expected to feature in the finish this time.
