Just the three runners for the opening race on a bid day at Doncaster. MAXIMILIAN (1) has been lightly raced in his career but made a solid return to action four weeks ago when finishing runner up at Haydock Park. Should come on plenty for that outing and this looks a good spot for him to get off the mark over fences. BLUE LAS (2) had some nice novice hurdle form from last season and gave a good fight to a much superior rival at Warwick three weeks ago. This is an easier test and she rates highly. LUNAR DISCOVERY (3) is a nice honest type who'll pay his way for connections but is likely to struggle in this contest.
