Expected to challenge. HARDLY SURPRISING (5) improved from a fifth on hurdle debut to finish top-three at Bangor-on-Dee losing out by 1L. Last win came on one and only point-to-point start. Might return to winning ways. DIG DEEP (4) failed to turn three runner-up finishes into a win when sixth behind the top pick in the aforementioned Ascot maiden hurdle. May reverse placings. MULINAS (9) looks interesting making first start since April 2024.
