MY LEO (2) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 5.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1609m at Evangeline Downs. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. ALAJUELA (4) is ready to win after he just missed last time, beaten 0.3 lengths into second over 1308m at Louisiana Downs (Dirt) after being prominent from the outset. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is good enough to take this out. FIRSTUP (5) has been in the money at the last couple of runs, the latest when second over 1609m at Evangeline Downs (Dirt) at the third run of the campaign. Cherry-ripe now so a top-three finish is on the radar. CANDY DREAMIN (3) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1207m at Evangeline Downs. This looks a good race for him and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
