MG LOGANS (4) made a strong late bid but just failed to pick up the winner when first-up last start over 229m at this track (Dirt). Will strip a lot fitter this time around. Has the class to go one better. SHAKIN N MY BOOTS (7) sat on the pace and stuck on well to score by a nose at today's track and trip last start in a far better run. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. MS APOLITICAL IVORY (3) was beaten 0.5 lengths into fifth in a 274m contest at this track last time out. Better than recent efforts suggest.
