This looks a sterner test than last time but with added fitness he is capable of a big performance. BENDOOG (5) is back at the races for the first time since July 11. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1710m at Oaklawn Park. Boasts a first-up record of three wins and three placings from seven starts. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. COOKE CREEK (4) was in the firing line on the bend and finished third last time over 1811m at Saratoga (Dirt) when resuming from a spell, beaten 3 lengths. Will trim down second-up. Capable of another strong performance.
