VAN GOGH STYLE (2) is a three-start maiden who has been in the money at his last couple of runs, the latest when second over 1609m at Santa Anita (Dirt). Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Leading contender. ZAKIEL (5) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner in third over 1106m at Santa Anita (Dirt). Likely improver who is expected to be in the finish. MICKEY (3) drifted back at his only appearance back on May 22 then wound up nicely to finish in the placings over 1207m at Santa Anita (Dirt). Will be better for that experience so he should be in the finish. DE FACTO (4) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1308m at Santa Anita Turf, beaten 4 lengths into fourth. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he cannot be taken lightly.
