Ghaiyyath filly STARLIGHT LIPS (11) performed well placing 0.5L fourth in the G1 Henkel-Preis Der Diana over 2200m at Dusseldorf during August. Taken to go one better dropping markedly in grade. QUIET SEA (3) suffered a 0.5L defeat placing second attempting 1600m at Fontainebleau. Looks a major threat against this field. MESSAGER DE FAUST (2) performed well debuting with a 1.5L third competing in a 2000m maiden at Nancy. Expected to deliver a big effort with a top jockey booked to ride. New Bay filly SOLDIERS CHORUS (12) resumed finishing 3.5L second trying 2000m at Fontainebleau. Warrants close consideration.
