JUST PHILTORED (4) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 2.25 lengths, over 1106m in stakes class at Laurel Turf (Turf). Well placed and should be tough to rein in. SLEWPERSTITUS (1) built on a nice second when fresh from a spell two starts back at Laurel (Dirt) with success over 1106m at Laurel (Dirt) six weeks ago, getting home by 0.8 lengths. Jevian Toledo scored on her last time and retains the ride. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is worth serious consideration. DOC'S MIRACLE (6) was last at the races when she finished third over 1408m in Listed grade at Laurel (Dirt) on December 6. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. MON REVE (5) was comfortably accounted for when fourth last time out over 1207m at Laurel, beaten 10 lengths, after a win at Monmouth Park at the previous outing. Worth plenty of thought.
