CALDERA (6) has enjoyed a let-up of eight weeks since he won when resuming over 1609m at Gulfstream Park (Dirt), scoring by 6 lengths. Will be better for that latest run and he looks hard to stop again. STATESMAN (5) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when fifth, beaten 10 lengths, over 1710m at Laurel (Dirt). Worth noting Samuel Marin goes aboard. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. BREAK OUT (9) was far too good first up last start when he scored by 6 lengths over 1673m at Hawthorne (Dirt). Has a solid second-up record and this looks well within his grasp. WHO'S THE KING (1) scored a 2 length win on dirt at Parx two starts back but then disappointed on turf last time at Delaware Park Turf over 1673m when 10 lengths from the winner in eighth. Well worth another chance returning to the dirt this time.
