ROLL ON JESSE (7) was narrowly beaten at his latest appearance at Laurel (Dirt) over 1710m 11 weeks ago. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. BRINDANO (1) scored two back at Penn National (Dirt) but was below his best last time when sixth over 1673m at Penn National (Dirt). Jose E Vargas gets the best out of this five-year-old gelding. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. PASSION RULES (2) was in the firing line on the bend and finished second last start at the first run back from a spell over 1609m at Horseshoe Indianapolis (Dirt), beaten 8 lengths. Should take a lot from that hit-out. Nicely placed to fill a top-three spot again.
