WHY (8) was well in commission last time out but could only manage to finish ninth over 1609m at COLONIAL DOWNS Inner Turf (Turf) in a disappointing performance. Perfectly placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. COUNTRY ECONOMICS (5) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track (Dirt), finishing third and only 2.5 lengths from the winner at the end of 1609m after being in contention on the turn. Likely improver with strong prospects. CHESTERTOWN JANE (6) displayed plenty of early toe over 1207m at Delaware Park (Dirt) when resuming last time and went on to score by 4 lengths. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. LIGHTEN (3) proved too strong two runs ago but was not as effective last time out when seventh over 1207m at Parx, beaten 27 lengths. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
