The feature of the day now, the time-honoured Kentucky Oaks where PERCY'S BAR (11) goes on top. She returned with a bang to win the Ashland at G1 level last start, running to a new peak figure. She has the speed to roll across from the wide draw, but has shown versatility in the past if she needs. Happy to have her ahead of ZANY (2) who had every chance to get past Percy's Bar in the Ashland and failed to do so. She was superb in the Suncoast at Tampa prior and did jump a $1.63 to beat Percy's Bar most recently. That looks the strongest form coming into this and it wouldn't surprise to see her turn the tables. EXPLORA (1) was too good in the G3 Honeybee at Oaklawn most recently and the form out of that has been strong. Drawn much better this time for the successful Prat/Baffert combination and she deserves plenty of respect. MEANING (5) has improved sharply in her two runs back this year and should get the dream run under Hernandez. Can bring up the hat-trick without surprising.
