This is dominated by the Aidan O'Brien stable. JAN BRUEGHEL (5) is the one to beat bringing best form from his G1 Coronation Cup victory at Epsom over 2400m almost a year ago. The track is an unknown but the 2700m distance is ideal. ILLINOIS (4) won twelve months ago and is a strong contender again though more is needed to defeat an out-and-out G1 performer. RAHIEBB (7) looks interesting on his comeback. Shaped well when a neck second in the 2900m G1 St Leger at Doncaster 236 days ago. AL QAREEM (2) brings the benefit of a recent win. He was a 1.25L second in this twelve months ago and a recent 0.5L success in a Listed race over 2800m puts him in the frame.
