Competitive renewal of this decent handicap chase. WESTERN GENERAL (4) received wind surgery since his last start and still has potential to be better than this rating. Not ruled out particularly if supported. HARPER'S BROOK (3) continues a long losing streak and needs to improve on his 17L fifth racing four weeks ago. Dangerous to dismiss. PETIT TONNERRE (2) secured a big win at Punchestown in the spring. Looked out of sorts this season. Could turn things around however is best watched. The stable of Venetia Williams has finally found some form and MARTATOR (1) looks a major player taking on this easier assignment.
