CLOUD KING (4) finished one spot behind ALLIGATOR ALLEY (1) when they met over 1000m at Southwell thirteen days ago. The former is now effectively 3kg better off at the weights when taking into account the riders claim and has the bonus of being a previous course and distance winner so may reverse placings although the latter warrants respect receiving the inside draw of gate one. Fellow previous track and trip winner ALMATY STAR (5) was a good second here following three month absence racing a week ago and cannot be ignored off the same mark. DIOMED SPIRIT (6) dug deep to win at Lingfield AW. Might get involved once more.
