A competitive 1000m contest where the draw could prove important. Joey Ramsden has done well since moving to England as a trainer and his runner FOREVER NOAH (6) makes plenty of appeal from gate three. The son of Dark Angel ran well when third over 1200m at Southwell last time out and shapes as though a drop back in trip would suit. HE'S AN ANGEL (1) was able to benefit from a strong gallop getting up narrowly at Wolverhampton (1200m) earlier in the week. Can remain competitive under a 2.5kg penalty. MASTER DANDY (2) receives a nice draw in stall two and must be considered having filled the runner-up spot behind the second mentioned. DESDEMONA (3) cannot be ruled out.
