STRIDE ON (7) placed second to a subsequent winner over hurdles on debut in this discipline attempting a 3200m Ayr novice hurdle. May go one better if acting on those form claims. KENT DE THAIX (5) drops in standard after finishing a respectable fifth in the “The French Furze” Novice’s Hurdle at Newcastle. Last win came tackling a point-to-point. Will be thereabouts warranting respect. IDAHO VALLEY (4) finished runner-up on seasonal reappearance contesting a 3400m Sedgefield novice hurdle. Expected to challenge. HUMBLE JUMBLE (3) cannot be discounted after a latest third attempting a Kelso novice hurdle last month.
