SAMURAI SWORD (2) broke through for his maiden win over 1006m at Thistledown (Dirt) last time, scoring comfortably. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Shaping up nicely and he is one of the main chances. RULE THE ROOST (4) went forward and proved too strong on debut last start, scoring with 2.25 lengths to spare over 1106m at Thistledown (Dirt).
