ECHO VALLEY (1) ran well below her best last time over 1207m at Thistledown (Dirt), beaten 6 lengths into fifth at $1.80. Erik Barbaran who has scored on her four times retains the mount. Best form puts her right in this. BASIS POINT (6) made a promising debut over 1609m at Monmouth Park Turf (Turf) last start, finishing second and beaten 8 lengths. Sure to take a lot from that hitout so she should be in the finish. SWEET KYLIE (7) has filled a minor placing at her last three outings, most recently when third over 1609m at BELTERRA PARK (Dirt). Hard to leave out.
