ALTER BOY (4) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 1207m at this track (Dirt) after being in contention all the way. Has the class to produce another positive result. HEY BATTER BATTER (7) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1006m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. Nicely placed to feature in the finish.
