COUNTERINTUITIVE (2) pushed forward when resuming last time and boxed on to finish 2 lengths away in second over 1710m at Saratoga Turf (Turf). Likely improver with strong prospects. MAJAZ (6) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 11 starts. Did a good job last start to finish third over 1609m at Saratoga Inner Turf, beaten 3 lengths. In the right race and there is no reason she cannot get the major prize. PRIME CONNECTION (1) proved too strong two runs ago at Saratoga Turf. Couldn't follow that up last time out when seventh over 1911m at Saratoga Turf, beaten 3.5 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time. EMERALD SPUN (7) built on a nice second two starts back at Colonial Downs Turf (Turf) with a win as public elect over 1609m at Colonial Downs Inner Turf (Turf) six weeks ago, getting home by 0.3 lengths. Has her share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
