EL CORDOBES (3) was well fancied but below his best at the last run before a break on February 14, finishing fifth over 2400m in Group 1 grade at Al Rayyan. Starts this prep with Flavien Prat taking charge. Should camp just off the leaders. Expected to be in the finish. PRIDE OF ARRAS (2) built on a nice second two starts back in the G2 York Stakes with a win over 2414m in the G3 September Stakes at Kempton Park All Weather three weeks ago, getting home by one length. Goes up a rung or two but he is good enough to score again. FORT GEORGE (6) fought on well for third last start over 2414m in the G2 Kentucky Cup Turf Stakes (Turf), making it two minor placings in a row. Stiffer assignment here but still one of the main contenders. MINARET STATION (1) went forward and gave a great sight when second over 2414m in the G1 Christophe Clement Turf (Sword Dancer) Stakes at Saratoga Inner Turf (Turf) last time out. Yet to break through this time in but hasn't been far away, with three placings to his name. Minor claims.
