SOUTH CHINA SEA (7) resumes after 12 weeks, and he was a model of consistency last prep, his latest run a strong third over 2000 metres at this track. He is well placed fresh, and he looks hard to beat. BLACK SHADOW (2) fought on gamely for second over 1400 metres at Group 2 level here last start, making it two consecutive placings. He draws to race handy, and he has the class to take this out. MEMBERSHIP (6) had market support when resuming but never came into it when eighth over 1200 metres on the inside track here. He should be sharper second-up, and he can be prominent from the outset. Stick with him on an each-way basis. NIGHT LANTERN (5) was impressive when resuming, scoring by three lengths in an easier race over 1600 metres at this track. She is even fitter now and deserves each-way consideration.
