RED FERN (2) was lining up for just the second time last start when seventh over 1308m at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Backmarker who keeps coming. Expected to prove tough to beat. DROP ME A DIME (4) failed to threaten at his first outing last time out, finishing ninth over 1207m at this track (Turf). Should appreciate the extra ground this time. Fitter and with blinkers applied he makes plenty of appeal. REIGN IT IN (3) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1609m at Finger Lakes. Looks to be in the right race so he should be in contention again.
