GUNNER BAY (2) was well fancied last time but found one better at this track (Dirt), finishing 1.5 lengths adrift at the end of 1207m. Looks well placed stepping out in trip. Should be in the finish again. BOURBON CHASE (1) is back after a break of a year. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1408m at Saratoga. Rates highly and should take some beating. ANTONIO OF VENICE (3) comes here off a break of seven months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1207m at this track. One to consider. ASLEEP AT EIGHT (5) was in the firing line on the corner and finished third last time over 1308m at this track (Dirt) when resuming from a spell, beaten a neck. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race.
