ROYAL POWER (4) lines up for the first time since February 7. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 2410m at Meydan. He hails from the powerful Charlie Appleby stable, and is sure to be one of the hardest to beat in this. WEST WIND BLOWS (1) ran fourth at his latest appearance over 2810m at Meydan. He is well placed with the drop back to 2400m, and he should be among the top 4 again. FIRST RULER (6) is a talented gelding who tackled a tougher race at his last run on February 15 and finished seventh over 1600m at Group 3 level at Jebel Ali. He has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset, and can figure in the top 3 here. SURABAD (5) comes here off a break of four-and-a-half months. Worth noting, he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 2000m at Saint-Cloud. He lines up today for the first time for trainer S Bin Ghadayer. Each way value, especially if the money comes for him.
