RB AL QAAHER (8) looks the one to beat returning from a six-and-a-half-month break after finishing fifth in Group 3 company over 2200m here. That form makes him the one to beat in this. AF QARES (1) is an interesting import making his local debut for Ernst Oertel after finishing fifth over 1900m at La Teste De Buch 15 months ago. The long absence is a query, but his trainer will have him ready to rumble. SOWWAN (9) resumes after finishing fifth over 2200m here and has the figures to make his presence felt. He looks a top 4 contender if ready to fire fresh. MISTER VIALETTES (5) debuts for H Al Marar after finishing fourth over 1600m first-up last campaign. The change of stable can help, and he deserves consideration.
