SUMO SANDY resumes, but has won both jump outs this time and looking for this longer trip. Made debut Sandown Hillside with close up finish over 1400m so this holds no fears. LOWESTOFT was running home nicely first-up and jumps up in distance here. Similar sort of distance jump last preparation saw her place at Geelong. Then solid enough in town before break. OCTANE REIGN did well with the sharp rise in distance last start. Ran them along at very hard tempo and battled on strongly when tackled. Time was 6 Lengths quicker than the other maiden. ETCHED IN BLUE was in traffic straighening up at Albury and while winner won confortably it was noticeable he raced passed the winner in the post race run on suggesting a long trip helps.
