BELLA LUCE (3) has been racing in stronger company since returning from a spell and she should notice the drop back into this grade. She is peaking at the right time, and her stable has trekked some way to be here. On top for us. CHERRYVILLE (4) was solid when finishing runner-up at Riverton 2 starts ago before failing to fire over 1800m at Riccarton last time. He has a good record on his home track, and with a return to 1600m, he is expected to bounce straight back into the money. BALANCE OF POWER (7) had excuses and he was not entirely disgraced last start after being in contention on the final bend over 1800m at Riccarton. He will be peaking third up, and on a heavy track, he can turn his form right around. Don't drop him yet. GO LOTTE (6) has been a great money-spinner for her connections, and she does race well on this track. Her best effort would have her in the finish here, so don't risk her. MAMAEA (9) rocketed home to score by nearly a length last start. Stick with her.
