SLATE RIPPER might be one at odds to put in. Ran on well last start and up the extra 118m here. Race was 12 lengths faster than the maiden on the card. Runner up has since won. EVERY LITTLE THING comes through the same race, but got badly checked before home turn and lost all momentum, before running home nicely. KYOKUSHIN comes through the Ioane race and then went well at 1600m. Tricky ride from the wide draw. MARIOTA comes through genuinely run race last start and gets economical run from the low draw. SPIRIT ANGEL is back in trip, but easy winner for in-form McGrath stable, 8 winners @ 27.5% last 2 months.
