CAME TRUE (1) tried hard when finishing runner-up by a short-head at Whanganui 3 weeks ago off a wide gate, and he cost himself a win on debut when racing very greenly. He should be spot on now, and with a superior gate, he can go one better. KYANITE MAN (5) made up a stack of late ground to race into third at Woodville just over 2 weeks ago, and he should settle closer in the running from the pole position here. Stick with him on an each-way basis. LA FLORIDA (8) has been heading the right way with her form, and he last run for second at Te Rapa caught the eye. She won't have to improve by much to take this out. GUZZLER (4) is a lightly tried 6YO gelding who was runner-up by a nose at Whanganui in his first run from the Jo Rathbone stable. Include in all top 4 combos. LACEY LUCK (9) needed the run fresh up on the Awapuni poly track, and she can be a quick improver in this.
