The resuming TROOPER SAM looks to be the pick of the raced. Re the newcomers the Jake Capewell trained grey, PAST MIDNIGHT, won its only trial by a lazy seven lengths, that was on a good track over 925m. Looked to do it very well and only the open trial was won in quicker time and there were no less than nine 925m trials on the day. PROTURNITY trialed twice in town last October, placed in one, not seen since, and has since changed stables. Filed under 'who knows?'
