On his jump out at Penshurst, September 17 NICCOTEIN looks a great hope on debut. On his latest at Ararat, not sure what to think. He's in an astute local stable, so will stick with the positive. In that Penshurst jump out he had BLUES JAZZ closing in on him strongly. It was nice work from BLUES JAZZ but his rider was showing a lot more intent. ACHARNEE looks a good chance with the key being back to 1000m. She came from the back at Mornington before blinkers went on last time and she led far too keenly. Rather than take the blinkers off, it looks a good move keeping them on and come back in trip. ZECARDY has jumped out well to prepare for his 2nd campaign. He maps well. VILLA GRANDE was a beaten fav here 1st go but ran well. Not sure how strong that form is. TWISTER jumps out much better than the debut effort (heat stress).
