On pace runners, 1, 2, 3, 4. CROOK was produced first up over this distance at Scone last start when she performed well above market place expectations on the day. She has only been presented once before at Warren and on that day there were excuses for an unplaced effort in a race that created strong subsequent form. CASTLEBAR ROAD kept trying in defeat with Anna Weatherlake aboard at Dubbo and the claim for Anna may prove to be invaluable this afternoon. CHANDON STAR did all but win over this journey last start at Gunnedah when he was kept fresh. He presents fresh again today and he can maintain his form. CRIMSON BONNET can be expected to appreciate the significant step back in distance that awaits her here.
