Selections: 2-3-4-5

BOKUSHI (2) found the track too firm for him when finishing fourth as the favourite at Hawera just over 6 weeks ago, when trying to make all the running. He will get his favoured wet conditions this time, and a wide gate may be an advantage by this time of the day. Follow your money, and he goes on top for us. MANUKA RUSH (3) loomed large at Waipukurau 2 weeks ago, and got to be within a short-head of winning. The extra 160m will suit him for his peak run here, and he can go one better. SKATTEBO (4) ran on nicely when making his debut at Waverley a month ago over 1200m, and he will only naturally improve further from that effort. Include in all top 4 combos. EZZIE (5) has won his only public trial, and he has a home track advantage for his debut. Follow the money.
