Selections: 10-1-5-9

KOMOCEAN (10) won her first couple of starts on the bounce, including a win on this track, before finishing fifth in her last run and then going for a spell. She will be a lot stronger this season, and looked on target for a bright return when winning a Waverley trial in September. On top. LEGALLY BINDING (1) has yet to run a bad race this season, and is back in the North Island after last racing at Riccarton 5 weeks ago. He benefits from a 2kg claim and should be right in the finish again. KOSTA (5) trekked South after scoring a big win here near the end of October. A heavy track brought him undone at Riccarton last time out, and he can bounce back and take this out. LUCULLAN (9) needed his first 2 starts back from a spell, and then scored an impressive win at Whanganui 4 weeks ago. He had plenty left in hand that day, and can measure up in this as well. Each way. VELTON (8) has held her form in this grade since winning fresh up in BM65 company fresh up. Stick with her.
