SUPER TWENTY THREE didn't have much luck from a wide draw last time. He doesn't win out of turn but had been game in the placings prior and is worthy of another chance at likely each-way odds. Former Victorian PARCH disappointed at his only run last term but had looked promising prior and he bears close watching at his local debut. OLD GOLD has been narrowly denied at both outings since clearing maiden ranks and can figure again with any luck from the wide draw. POWER PUFF stuck on well off a tough run last time and was game in defeat the start prior.
