1200m maiden. Doesn't appear to be much speed in this field. Could be that no's 1,3,8,11 settle forward. MALBEC MAN (ex Lindsay Hatch) placed 3rd when resuming, was quite the drifter that day, logic dictates will be stripping a lot fitter here. BETTER BREAKOUT (ex NSW) had a support when a close 3rd 1st-up at Mackay. Had five weeks to refresh since then. Both map to get every possible chance. CHANCE has placed four of six, draws kindly. WIRED FOR FUN commenced career with back to back placings, both at Non-Tabs, but the form-lines are fine. Let's hope the bookies dismiss the Innisfail & Ingham form. Keep in mind that debut 3rd, the winner went from there to Townsville next start and won a 0-55 as a $6 chance.
