LEVAKIA (9) is the main threat to the top pick now that she is peaking third up from a spell. She tries a middle distance for the first time, and she has the talent to take this out and then go on with it. MOLLIFY (5) has improved this season, and made it 2 wins from 4 starts this prep with a big win at Pukekohe nearly 3 weeks ago. She only cops an extra kilo in weight, and can repeat the dose. GILLIAN (7) dug deep to score by a head at Te Aroha a month ago, and will still be on the up with her fitness. She can secure the run of the race after drawing the pole position, and there is more in store for this progressive mare. MALDINI (6) has not won for some time, but his form has been solid.
