WHATTHEMANSAW (4) has really come of age this prep, winning twice, and then fighting on gamely for second at Te Aroha last time out. He has a superior gate this time, and with no problems in deep ground, he is the one to beat in this. HEZA SHARP ONE (3) has raced himself back into top form recently, and was less than a length from the winner when finishing fourth at Te Rapa 2 weeks ago, following on from a brace of wins in May. Stick with him. DANCE FOR HER (5) caught the eye with a nice late finish for fourth fresh, and then let down powerfully to score by half a length at Otaki 6 weeks ago. The gap between runs is our only query, but if ready, she can figure in the top 3 here. TENFOOT TALL (7) did nothing fresh before winning a trial, and then running on late over 1600m at Matamata last time out. The extra 500m is the key, and she can take this out. JUST A KARIN (6) is usually consistent when fit, and her start second was sound on the Cambridge poly track. Include in all combos.
