BAUDIN takes on the older horses but a 3 length defeat in Gr.3 company is good form for this; she had no luck as favourite at her previous start. RAINEY showed nice fight over 2600m at only her third outing. Liked the improvement from debut to second start by IRON LEGACY. SPICY APPLE is also suited up in distance having found the line well at Mildura. CHOUXDINO struck interference at Stawell but his previous run was sound and he is bred to relish a trip. SOUL GLOW does not seem to be a lucky horse; valid excuses at every run this campaign.
