Seven on a Sunday at Stony Creek. This preview done three days out and rain was expected later on Thursday, perhaps up to 20mm. The full extent of that prediction would take us right into the Soft range and even beyond if a little more comes on Friday and Saturday, which is not unexpected. My best guess is Soft 6 but it's a 'wait and see' scenario. We begin with a 2100m and 4 looks the leader. Good luck with it; it's not a race about which I have any confidence at all. BOY FROM OZ showed something on debut then just struggled a bit on New Year's Day. Perhaps this distance is what he wants now? The same may apply to CHIRPY CHAP. VELLASGLORY off a clear PB and has a chance by virtue of leading. That trio all on a dry track last start.
