PHOEBE BUFFAY looks to have more wins in store after a good victory here last time 1429m. Doubt 1600m is going to stop her. Mick Dee suggested she was looking for some competition when she hit the front early last time. SAVVIE BLANC has the ability and after three runs back, he might be ready now. His last win was here 1600m BM64. He sat outside the leader that day. Zac Spain had his first ride on him at Cranbourne last time and after a slow beginning he had a tough task. His work through the line was okay. Now that Zac has had that experience with him now we might see a better start and him race handily. LEVERAGED BUYOUT might appreciate coming back to 1600 and the drop in class. Don't know what to think about CALEANA now. Her return was good but last time plain. She was 6 weeks between runs. MAKTOOB, MOONBIRD and STRUMMER have place hopes.
