Seymour looks all clear leading through to its warm weekend so this Thursday card will be conducted on an improving track which - on Tuesday - was rated Soft 7. The rail is out 8 metres all the way. We open on what appears to be a very competitive mile Maiden, made up of mostly 3YOs. Guessing a bit with speed but that guess has me with 3 and 1 out front. DIESEL DIAMOND sets up just in behind and off a long break the 5YO looks just about ready to break on through. SKUA and ABAYA were 1st-up at 1400m and the extra furlong is positive (although probably the very least of what they'll be wanting distance-wise). Newcomer AEROSTATIQUE is unplaced from four jumpouts since May but hasn't been beaten far in two in August. Draws a treat here.
