Here's a tricky one. Half of them resume or debut. MERCY ME has been trialing just as well recently as she was before she finished out of the placings on debut at $1.65. Stablemate SOSUEME was runner-up in two out of three in her first prep, and that ain't bad. One of them was on Soft ground and her latest trial was pretty good (2nd to a subsequent first-starter that was sent out $1.50 but finished 2nd). The market - $1.80 MERCY vs $4.40 SOSUEME - suggests I'm tipping the wrong one but we shall see. Two newcomers - locally trained 3YO MAGURTZ has won three of five trials overall. Drawing near outside unlikely to help but it may be OK given some give in the track? Not much give as it turned out though. TOO DARN FINESSE has had three trials since January. One recently was her best and saw her lead the way (before finishing a 1.5L 3rd).
