The speed is unclear. No standouts here. FLASH OF DALLAS has returned to racing at the top of her game. That was a great ride from Lachie King to get the prize at Wodonga. She's a mare suited up to 2400m yet Lachie King persisted and lifted her to score over the 1590m. She's an Oaks placegetter in WA. 2050m will suit now. Guilty of thinking DRAW ATTENTION could be competitive last time. She wasn't but that race was much stronger and she does look desperate for a trip like 2000m. When she won she sat up outside the leader. Her Pakenham effort was encouraging so she gets another go. OUR PARAMOUR is going well. That barrier isn't ideal but she has the right rider aboard. OLNEY is going well and he's drawn for a soft trail. Unsure what to make of SUPER MIRAGE. Clearly expectations were high 1st go for the stable. Pre race agitation was noted. Jamie Mott sticks with him.
