Expecting a soft track but rain is predicted on Saturday. Cignetti led when scoring fresh, but in the small field none of them will be far away. They won't go hard. CIGNETTI shared the lead from barrier 13 fresh, dropping in class and scoring comfortably. Blake Shinn stays on board and the gelding will get an easier early run from gate two. HYDROBOMB got back fresh and didn't threaten in a similar race that developed into a sprint home. He's capable of much better. KO PHANGAN is off seven weeks since an 1800m breakthrough.
