A handful of these ran in the race last year, with LINDERMANN winning as a $2.30 favourite. Last year's 2nd and 3rd - ATTRITION and KOVALICA - finished 1st and 2nd in the race back in 2024. That win remains ATTRITION's most recent but he clearly enjoys a visit to Sydney and a last start G1 3rd (Cosmic Crusader 2nd) is good form to bring along. Can see him trailing nice and handy on the fence, similar to last start. LINDERMANN will be happy to return to more familiar surrounds. Yes, he has run hot and cold this prep but he is due for hot so.....
